DANCE2CINEMA: Midnight Express Party with Giorgio Moroder
Special guest: Giorgio Moroder
Giorgio Moroder — DJ set
A jubilee dance party featuring a world start. Giorgio Moroder, because that’s who we're talking about, is called the father of disco for a reason. The author of such hits as “Hot Stuff” and “Love to Love You Baby” has returned to the music scene after 30 years. During his career, he has worked with such stars as Barbra Streisand, Elton John, Donna Summer, Cher, Janet Jackson, Freddy Mercury and David Bowie. This legendary Italian producer is a three-time Oscar winner – for the soundtrack to Midnight Express, the title song in Flashdance and the iconic “Take My Breath Away” from Top Gun. We couldn’t ask for a better star for the 10th anniversary of the FMF. Giorgio Moroder has agreed to prepare a special DJ set for the festival. We’ll party to the most famous soundtracks, starting with dance music canon and classics such as Midnight Express to music from Scarface, Top Gun, Flashdance, as well as "What a Feeling”.
