Who are we going to see on the red carpet?

Today, at 6 p.m., the ICE Kraków Congress Centre will be filled with stars coming to the 12th Film Music Festival. Alexandre Desplat, Krzysztof Zanussi, Krzesimir Dębski, Michał Szpak, Natalia Nykiel, Antoni Komasa-Łazarkiewicz and Mary Komasa, Antonina and Marek Kondrat, as well as Grzegorz Turnau – these are just some of the well-known and respected artists who will walk on the red carpet on Thursday evening to take part in the Scoring4Polish Directors concert – a unique evening dedicated to the work of Krzysztof Zanussi and Wojciech Kilar.

This year’s Scoring4Polish Directors concert is also a celebration of the 80th birthday of Krzysztof Zanussi. Before the concert at the ICE Krakow Congress Centre at 6 p.m., Krzysztof Zanussi will be joined on the red carpet by important figures of the film industry, including Alexandre DesplatKrzesimir DębskiZygmunt Konieczny and Stanisław Radwan.On this special evening, joining us at the Film Music Festival will be Academy Award-winning composer Jan A.P. Kaczmarek. The audience listening to the most beautiful musical themes from Krzysztof Zanussi’s films, such as Persona non grataForeign Body or At Full Gallop will also include Maria Sadowska, Michał SzpakNatalia Nykiel and Kasia Moś.

A fan of the Film Music Festival, model Anja Rubik, who will visit Krakow again especially for this occasion, will also walk the red carpet of the ICE Kraków Congress Centre. The event will also feature representatives of modern film music, such as Marcin Masecki, co-author of the soundtrack to Cold War, author of the melodic lines for the Czas Honoru (Time of Honour) TV series and Bogowie (Gods), Bartosz Chajdecki, composer of the music for the Wataha TV series Łukasz Targosz, as well as Antoni Komasa-Łazarkiewicz, author of themes for Agnieszka Holland’s films and Warsaw 44.

During the Scoring4Polish Directors concerts, two awards will be presented – the Polish Soundtrack of the Year for the first time in the history of the FMF, as well as the Young Talent Award. The concert will start at 7:00 p.m. at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre.
