Artistic director of the Pro Musica Mundi choir. A graduate of the Academy of Music in Kraków in the organ class of Prof. Jan Jargoń and conducting in the class of Prof. Jerzy Katlewicz. Doctor of musical arts in the artistic discipline of conducting (2008), and since 2014, professor of musical arts. As an organist, chamber musician and conductor, he has given concerts in most European countries, as well as in the USA, China, Israel and Japan. He conducted, among others, at the Berlin Philharmonic and the Leipzig Gewandhaus. He has performed with the Polish Radio Choir in Kraków, the Kraków Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, Capella Cracoviensis, EuropaChorAkademie in Mainz. In 1994–1999, he was the conductor of the Kraków Academic Choir of the Jagiellonian University. In 2000, he founded the chamber choir Kantorei Sankt Barbara and the L’Estate Armonico orchestra. Wiesław Delimat is an employee of the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Kraków, where he is the head of the Chair of Church Music. He is the director of the Primary and Secondary Archdiocesan School of Music in Kraków. He is the deputy chairman of the Archdiocesan Commission for Church Music in Kraków and the vice president of the Polish Federation Pueri Cantores. He has been awarded many distinctions for his pedagogical, artistic and organisational activities.
