Classically trained composer, orchestrator and arranger. He is a graduate of University of Liverpool, Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama and Durham University. His film music collaborations include music preparation, editing, score supervision and MIDI mock-up for projects such as Clint Mansell’s Symphonic Concert; Daniel Licht’s Silent Hill Suite, premiered at Krakow Film Music Festival 2018 Video Games Music Gala concert; Michael Nyman’s Piano for Strings, performed at Krakow Film Music Festival 2018 Penderecki2Cinema concert; and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s Symphonic Star Wars 2018 concert.
He collaborated with some of the industry’s leading composers, conductors, producers and performers, such as Richard Bellis, John Ottman, Keith Lockhart, James Shearman, Matt Dunkley, Diego Navarro, James Fitzpatrick, Stephen Bell, Tim Burden, Chuhei Iwasaki, Norman Kim, Tina Guo, to name but a few.
In March 2019, his X-Men Suite had its world premiere in Nottingham, UK. The arrangement was commissioned and performed by Hallé Orchestra, conducted by Stephen Bell. As of 2019, he is serving as chief arranger and music supervisor for Film Music Prague Festival. Summer of 2018 found Nikiforos orchestrating Bartosz Chajdecki’s music for Ziuk. Młody Piłsudski, a Polish TV series about Polish independence. He made his Hollywood debut providing orchestrations to George Kallis’ music in The Black Prince, Albion: The Enchanted Stallion, 93 Days and Cliffs of Freedom. In addition to his freelance work, he is a member of Vienna Music Angels music services team. Company’s projects include Netflix’s production of The Crown (music by Rupert Gregson-Williams & Hans Zimmer) and Ron Howard’s Inferno (music by Hans Zimmer).
