Vocalist, director, composer and lyricist. She has been present on the Polish music scene for over 20 years. Her work combines jazz, funk, electronic and pop music. She released 11 albums, including two in Japan. The breakthrough in her career was the album Tribute to Komeda, which gained gold record status. She has collaborated with many Polish and foreign artists, including Michał Urbaniak, Jan “Ptaszyn” Wróblewski, Bogusław Mec, Urszula Dudziak and Michel Legrand, with whom she performed at Jazz Jamboree. She is a graduate of the Directing Department of the Leon Schiller National Higher School of Film, Television and Theatre in Łódź. Her feature debut Women’s day had its premiere at the 37th Film festival in Gdynia and was awarded at the 22nd FilmFestival Cottbus. Since 2013 she has been a trainer on the TV music show “The Voice of Poland”. Her latest album, Jazz na ulicach, released in 2014, gained gold record status. In 2017, the film The Art of Loving: The Story of Michalina Wisłocka, which she directed,came first at the Polish box office. She is currently working on music material, the premiere of which is scheduled for 2019.
