He has been involved with the film music industry for over two decades. Starting as the co-founder of SoundtrackNet, he worked as a journalist handling soundtrack reviews, interviews, articles, industry news and photographing scoring sessions. He also provided web design services for composers such as Michael Giacchino, John Powell, Marco Beltrami and Christophe Beck, among others. Subsequently, he began writing liner notes for soundtracks and shifted into producing archival soundtrack albums, with Blazing Saddles, Airplane! and The Fugitive among his early projects. After leaving SoundtrackNet in 2008, his photojournalism work carried over to his new website, ScoringSessions.com, which is now the premier Internet destination for live orchestra photography.
As of 2019, he has produced over 100 albums for film, television and video games, including The Matrix Reloaded, Braveheart, Beverly Hills Cop, Kingsman: The Secret Service, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and The Orville. He has also art directed over 185 albums, including The Thin Red Line, Titanic, The World Is Not Enough, Waterworld, Ferdinand and most notably, the new expanded soundtrack release of Wojciech Kilar’s score to Bram Stoker’s Dracula, which he also produced.
