Composer. His work on projects in film, ballet, theater and concert let him explore many musical genres, from the deeply romantic to the freshness of Italian traditional, from the powerful orchestral rhythms of flamenco to contemporary & classical ballet, and from theatrical sound effects to animated films. He maintains a great interest in the expressive capability of orchestral music and continues to write purely classical works. He has worked with directors – Manuel Gómez Pereira, Juan Margallo, Gabriel Beitía, Susan Bejar, Olga Margallo, Pau Faus, Krzysztof Zanussi – as well as the choreographers Javier Latorre and Concha Jareño. He composed symphonic music (Obertura) for the VII Congreso Internacional de Análisis Textual at Complutense University of Madrid. Sandro Ruscio studied composition, conducting (orchestral and choral), guitar and piano in Rome. He currently collaborates on productions in Italy, Spain, Argentina, China and Poland.
