A director and screenwriter, Paweł Maślona is the finalist of the second edition of the Talents of Polish Radio “Trojka” competition in the Film category.
He graduated in directing from the Krzysztof Kieślowski Radio and Television Faculty of the University of Silesia. His diploma picture, Magma, won the main award for the best short film at Palm Springs ShortFest and the main prize in the Young Cinema Competition at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia. The previous film, Eclipse, won the Best Director Award at the Shanghai International Film Festival, and his Tylko dla obłąkanych won The Young Talent Award at the Munich International Festival of Film Schools. Paweł is also a co-writer of the famous film by Marcin Wrona titled Demon. His full-length directorial debut is Atak paniki.
