Ana Kasrashvili
Born and raised in a seaside town Batumi (Georgia), Ana began studying piano and violin at age 6. Inspired by a picture, she wrote her first piano piece at the same age.! In 2020 Ana composed trailer music for the mystery/drama ‘The Other Me’ written and directed by Giga Agladze with David Lynch on board as executive producer. In 2019 she wrote music for a short film ‘Flow’ by Veronika Kurz and also worked on commercial projects with Ezra Productions in Hollywood and advertising agencies in Georgia. In 2018 Ana won the 2nd edition of the Juan Gil International Soundtrack Composition Prize, which has the largest prize in the world for a contest of this type. A winning piece - ‘The True Treasure’ was performed by the Film Symphony Orchestra at Auditorio Victor Villegas in Murcia.

In 2018 she became on of Berklee Valencia alumni ambassadors. ! In 2017 Ana attended the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop with Richard Bellis in Los Angeles. During this month-long program, she recorded and conducted her original 3-minute cue for Scott Derrickson's ‘Doctor Strange’ at Fox Newman Scoring Stage with a 64-piece orchestra. In 2016 she became one of the finalists of the first edition of the Juan Gil International Soundtrack Prize.

In 2015 Ana won a California Independent Film Festival (CAIFF) Film Scoring Competition, named as a composer of the year, for scoring an eight-minute movie - ‘Bridgebuilders’. In 2014 Ana was awarded the Howard Shore scholarship to study at Berklee College of Music Valencia Campus. One year after she received her Master of Music Degree in Scoring for Film,
Television and Video Games from Berklee. During the time of her studies, Ana had the opportunity to record her music at Abbey Road Studios with a 51-piece orchestra and with the Budapest Art Orchestra. She was selected by the Berklee Faculty of Scoring for Film, Television and Video Games as the recipient of the Outstanding Scholar Award (G’15).

In 2014 Ana received Georgian Theatre Society Award - ‘The Best Composition of the Year’ for a musical theatre - ‘Fame’. In addition to film scoring projects, Ana also devotes her time to songwriting as well.
