Thomas Moked Blum
Born in São Paulo, based in Berlin since 2012. He is a founding member and arranger of the folk ensemble Baladino, focused on interpreting Israeli and Mediterranean music. Together with Fifth House Ensemble, Baladino creates an border-transcending folk project called Nedudim. Their CD was produced by Steve Rodby and the recording engineering was done by Bill Maylone from Cedille Records. Thomas Moked Blum has also collaborated with Patricia Kaas, Goran Bregović and Fink, among others, and worked as a composer and session musician for theatre and cinema. He mastered the ability to play many string instruments, as violin, guitar, oud, bouzouki, saz and mandolin.
