Along 8 editions he has consolidated his international role promoting film music. Navarro has conducted a great number of world premieres, big Hollywood and European blockbusters, many of them specially arranged for FIMUCITÉ: “Perfume: History of a murderer”, Marvel’s super productions (“Ironman”, “Spiderman III”, “Thor”, or “Fantastic Four”) with a special emphasis on “Alien a Biomechanical Symphony”, a selection of the best music written for the 20th Century Fox Franchise (released by Varèse Sarabande), also performed during Krakow Film Music Festival in 2012.
It is also important to emphasize the tributes that he has conducted in FIMUCITÉ to important classic composers such as Bernard Herrmann, Alex North, John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, John Barry and other contemporary maestros like Patrick Doyle or Antón García Abril, among many others. The Universal Pictures Studios 100th Anniversary Concert, Dreamworks Animation Studios Tribute, James Bond 50th Anniversary, Varèse Sarabande's 35th Anniversary as well as Cinema of Art & Blood, celebrating the music of Elliot Goldenthal, make part of Navarro’s conducting highlights.

Diego Navarro has a strong link with the FMF in Krakow since 2009, where the brotherhood between both International Film Music Festivals started when he first conducted at the Blonia Fields. This year Diego Navarro was invited again to assume the responsibility of conducting the James Bond tribute (co-produced with FIMUCITÉ) at the Krakow Arena as well as the ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) 100th Anniversary concert, where he will work with Hans Zimmer, Elliot Goldenthal, Dario Marianelli, Patrick Doyle and more.
Diego has just finished writing the soundtrack for a feature documentary film and is excited starting with his new assignment.
